The HELLO Project is partnering with Artown on this year’s “Heartown” program and we’d love to have YOU participate by creating your own heart-shaped masterpiece. During these challenging times, it is more important than ever to show heart and practice kindness. The HELLO Project’s mission is to tap the experience and enthusiasm of people like you to help make someone’s day a little brighter and a lot less lonely. In the process, you’ll gain deeper meaning and perspective through the simple act of offering a heart-felt HELLO.

Join us in this simple expression of our region’s Heartown! Simply pick up one (or two if you want to grab one for a friend) of our fantastic wooden hearts which we paired with paints and brushes and get to work creating your one of a kind work of art. Once completed you drop your artwork off where you picked it up and we put it on display downtown at the Lear Theatre.

Hearts are available for pickup July 14-17 at one of these locations:

Hometown Health
Washoe County Senior Center
Plumas Bank

Please return your artwork to the location where you picked it up by July 23rd. Artwork will be on display at the Lear Theatre, downtown, from July 24th through Labor Day.

It’s a great way to participate while still being socially responsible.
